There are rumors of an upcoming fifth season of Rick and Morty. The news has been met with positive reception. After an up-and-down fifth season that included a few of the show’s best episodes ever, there’s plenty of appetite for more Rick and Morty, but when will creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland return the unlikely duo to our screens? You can also check out Solar Opposites, another animation from co-creator Craig Robinson. The RICK AND MORTY crew is still dropping brilliant shorts, so we had to mention it.

When does Rick and Morty season six start?
Season 6 of Rick and Morty will premiere on September 4, 2022 at 11 pm ET on Adult Swim. You’ll find out what TV channel it will drop on at the same time in the UK, which means it will air in the early hours on 5 September 2022 for viewers in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. If you missed it on TV, you can watch the Adult Swim channel on Amazon Channels or on Amazon Video Direct.
Adult Swim is available in most countries where it broadcasts, and if there’s no official broadcaster in your area, it’s still possible to watch the show if you want to catch up, or make sure you’re ready when the next season starts. The fourth season of this animated kids’ show premiered on April 5, 2019. The first of two double-episode finales aired on July 22, and the second double-episode finale will air in early September. The good news is that Adult Swim is so confident in the show that in 2018 it renewed the show for 70 episodes, so we’re all but guaranteed years and years of Rick and Morty to come.
Is there a trailer for season six?
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Seth Green, co-creator and executive producer of the series, said that season six is coming and there may be a trailer before the end of the year. He said that he doesn’t know much about the new season except that it will feature guest stars from Star Wars. Green said: “We’re doing a couple of episodes, and I’d like to do a couple of episodes with some guest stars.
I think we’re going to do one episode with [Star Wars] characters and then we’re gonna do one with some other people.” He added: “It’s almost ready to go. The script is written and the voice recording has started. We’re in the midst of the casting process, and I’m hopeful that we’re getting close to finishing it.”
How many episodes will there be in season 6?
Despite the first season packing in 11 episodes, the other seasons of Rick and Morty have all featured 10 episodes, and season 6 is likely to be no different. However, co-creator Dan Harmon discussed the idea of longer seasons during the interview with EW that suggests there could be a little more than that on the way in the future eventually.
“I would like to think I’ve learned enough from my mistakes in season three that we could definitely do 14 now, but then I have to say, ‘Yeah but you’re the guy who says we can do 14 who turned out to be wrong so we’re not listening to you now’,” Harmon remarked. “The nice healthy way to approach this is I want to prove it with the first 10 of season four – prove it to ourselves, to production, to the network – that it’s so easy that we’ll earn additional episodes.” Whilst neither season 4 nor 5 broke the 10-episode barrier, there is still hope that season 6 could pull off the trick.
Rick and Morty season 6 cast
The whole main cast should return for season six. Justin Roiland voices both Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, and Chris Parnell plays Morty’s dad, Jerry. Alyssa Milano will be back as Morty’s sister Summer and, of course, it wouldn’t be complete without Sarah Chalke voicing Rick’s daughter, Beth.
What is the plot of Rick and Morty season 6?
If you’re planning on taking the step from a freelance job to a business that has more of an impact on others, it might be time to consider this option. There was a huge explosion that blew all the dinosaurs out of the Earth’s crust and created a bunch of new reptiles, mammals and plant life. There’s plenty of shows I love, but the only thing that keeps me going back is the new episodes every week.
In conclusion, I was very excited to see Rick and Morty season 6 on the horizon. This is one of the funniest shows on television right now, and it’s been a pleasure to watch it grow over the years. I’m not sure what to expect from the new season, but I am excited to find out.
